The theme for 2022 is Black Health and Wellness. This month we celebrate Black History Month by acknowledging the legacy of the Black western medical practitioner, recognizing and focusing on ways and practices that the Black community performs to improve well-being. With the mindset of improving our health and wellness, we want to share our favorite Black-owned business you can celebrate with and get healthy!
Plum Bistro
1429 12th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122
We are starting strong with our favorite vegan restaurant! Home to the New York Times top Chef Changing food in America, Makini Howell, they have been serving organic, sustainable plant-based since 2009 and continue to push the quest to make veganism part of U.S. food culture. Their to-share nut-free Mac N Yease is so good you don't want to share it! We highly recommend it!
